Top Sandbox Games on Android in Central America: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the sandbox gaming category on Android saw diverse performance trends across Central America. Here's a look at the top five games based on the latest data from Sensor Tower.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation experienced a fluctuation in weekly revenue, starting at over $1M and dipping to around $457K by late January, before rising again to approximately $809K in mid-March. Weekly downloads began strong at nearly 478K, but gradually declined to around 306K by the end of March. The game maintained a high number of active users, peaking at over 15M at the start and ending the quarter at around 12.6M.

Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! by Mojang witnessed a decline in weekly downloads from over 5K to about 3.3K. Revenue showed a similar trend, peaking at $250K mid-January and closing the quarter at approximately $188K. Active users saw a notable increase towards the end of the quarter, rising from 425K to over 532K.

IMVU: Social Chat & Avatar app reported a steady weekly revenue, fluctuating around $5K to $6K. Downloads saw a significant drop from over 22K at the start to about 15K by the end, while active users decreased from over 71K to approximately 39K.

PK XD: Fun, friends & games by Afterverse Games had a varied performance. Revenue remained relatively stable around $4K to $6K. Downloads started strong at over 106K, but saw a decrease to about 45K by the quarter's end. The number of active users also declined from over 564K to about 337K.

ZEPETO: Avatar, Connect & Live from Naver Z Corporation showed a consistent increase in downloads, rising from about 11K to over 22K. Revenue remained stable around $2K, and active users grew significantly from 38K to over 109K by the end of March.
